What is MIFARE Plus?


MIFARE Plus is a series of 13.56 MHz High-Frequency (HF) smart card chips that comply with the ISO/IEC 14443 Type A standard (the same standard used by NFC). 

Its primary purpose is to provide a secure and cost-effective migration path for systems currently using the older, less secure MIFARE Classic cards, allowing them to upgrade to stronger AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) security.
